The Lancia got a mention on tonight's last episode of the current BBC's series of TopGear. The trio compared the car to an archeological dig, mentioning that if you scratch the Chrysler logo on the UK version of the car, you will find a Lancia badge, if you dig a bit further you will find a FIAT 500 extended floorpan, which in turn was made originally from the Panda's floorpan. Presenter Hammond joked that if they dug a bit further they would find bronze coins and helmets. We will need to wait until the new series of TopGear in the summer to know whether the little Lancia, sorry Chrysler, makes it to the cool side of the wall alongside the MINI, the DS3 and the FIAT 500.
