Lancia Releases More Sketches Of The New Ypsilon's Interior

New sketches have been released prior to the World Première presentation of the new Lancia Ypsilon at the Geneva Motorshow in March.

The sketches give more insight to the layout of the instrument panel as the first official picture of the Ypsilon's interior was a side view.

Current Lancia Ypsilon owners will be very familiar with the new dashboard. Loyal to its past, it continues the trend of fabric-cladded dash, dashboard-mounted gear lever and central instrument cluster.

The seamless transition between the dashboard and the inside door panels adds a cocoon effect to interior and gives a very modern interpretation of the typical Ypsilon's dashboard.

Further sketches were released showing the design studies behind the finished product about to be launched. The designs above seem to have a much better balance than the one achieved with the actual car. Again, one will have to wait until seeing the new Ypsilon in the flesh to come with a final verdict.

Just a few more days and the press will be inundated with pictures of the car. Mondo Lancia will be on the lookout for them and release as much information in the coming days.

In the meantime, enjoy these few sketches.
